Another multi FX pedal thread...
I'm dying to experiment with a bunch of different effects, so I'm looking to buy a multi FX pedal. I've never owned a pedal before, so I'm not really looking for a Boss GT-8, but something that has some basic but decent effects, namely: wah, chorus, flanger, delay, volume control with the expression pedal, and maybe some distortion models, but that's not really a must.
Money is very tight for me, so $200 pedals are definately not an option.
I've been looking into the discontinued Boss GT-3, as it seems solid and I might be able to obtain it for $150 or less used. Supposedly it's like an outdated GT-6, but if it gets the job done I'm happy with that.
I still think that might be a little too much for me though, as I don't have a lotta cash available. I'm really doubting the GT-3 as I'm poor as fuck and probably wouldn't use a lot of it's features. So I want something a little lower than that.
I looked at the Behringer X V-Amp(a floor FX unit with a pedal) as it sells for $70 new but I heard it simply goes dead on a lot of people, very poor construction. So I definately want to buy something that's not going to break/die.
I'm open to any other reccomendations if the pedal is decent has the features I mentioned(or at least most of them). I'd save up for a GT-3 but honestly I think it would be in vain at least now, or I might be wrong, but please do give me some more reccomendations based on your experience.
Edit: How's the DigiTech RP80? I hear it's 80$ and has everything I need, and it also has a drum-machine thing along with distortion mods. Nothing I'd seriously be using though... is the RP80 decent?

V-amps,zoom,rp80 are all decent to experiment and fuck around with.Keeping in mind its not something you are going to be overly pleased with.Out of the above 3,i found the v-amp the best.
But even better would be to find a gt3,or even save up a bit more for a POD.

Nah a POD is just the effects processor, I want something like the GT3 with like 6 pedalz lolz.
By V-amps... do you mean the X V-amp(the one with the integrated pedal)? Or the plain V-amp and V-amp 2(the blue ones that look like the POD)? Regardless, I hear the quality is real bad and that the thing just dies on some people...
So the RP80 is decent? The RP50($50) seems to be the same thing just without the pedal. What do yall have to say about them?

Yeah i mean the floor based v-amp that looks similar to the POD,ive played it and it was just as good if not better as the other multi effects in the price range.I know a few owners and i havent heard of breakage, but you never know what cards you will be dealt with anything.
And if you go down the RP path,as long as you dont want the shitty expression pedal,go the rp50.Strictly speaking, low end wahs are shit.
