PU Question

ok, in my first guitar, the bridge PU sucks, but the neck is pretty good, the way i set it up, so i wanted to put a EMG 89 in the bridge and keep the neck one, but my friend said you cant have a passive and an active in at the same time. is this true?

You can have both active and passive, but it is tedious work.

If you couldn't find that thread, as a fail safe, this thread was made a sticky in the guitar forum.

It can be done, but you had better know your electronics or have a friend that understands them when applied to electric guitar.
