are there any good industrial metal bands out there (i know this site is only for extreme metal but jess wanna know)
and is rammstein any good coz i dont wanna waste my time downloading some shitty band's discography

not a big fan of industrial, makes me think of the techno goth scene that exists as club atmosphere for wankers and s and m freaks. i always felt throbbing gristle was more of a noise outfit, despite thier label "industrial records" and the fact that everyone cites them as the end all be all.
noise > industrial
i always thought the definition of industrial was to make music with things that are not considered musical. i noticed most stuff thats labelled "industrial" is just computer made music with some guitars overdubbed over what essentially is harsh techno. that shit is weak. in my opinion the noise genre is more directly descendant from TB, far more abstract and true to the definition as i understood it. the circut bending ways to make electronics musical, whether or not they were intented to be musical is far more interesting than the cutting edge of digital computerized music.

Rammstein are very cool i've seen them live twice 
And i don't care what you guys say they are good!!!! 
The new album was slightly worse than all their other stuff but it's not bad but there are only a few songs it think are very cool like reise reise basically every song was great in its own way. |
