Aye, I know, but how do you get them to sound like that? Sounds like you max out your bass and treble, proabably mids too. It sounds like an EQ/gain thing.

I use my neck pickup position to get the best chugs. Those chugs on Gutted's beggining have an ASSLOAD of treble/highs, that's why it sounds so crisp and br00t3l. It's also a cranked Blue Voodoo, and correct me if I'm wrong but those are EMG 81's there, so that's even more mid-high with a lotta gain right there.

It sounds just pure over the top.
I like the sound of Meat Hook Sodomy's beginning. The treble sounds smooth and high, rather than gnarly and horrible like Gutted.
Is this just from the high output pickups? My Death Metal pedal sounds disgusting with my Yamaha and Marshall MG10. My Schecter C7 Blackjack (lefty!) comes next year and a new amp' will soon follow. A Randall or a Laney are my thoughts. Any recommendations? There's a 40-watt Randall Dimebag Signature I could get (£179) or a Laney MXD120T I was thinking of (£250-300), 120 watts with a twin-speaker variant.
