Hey, does anyone use an atomic reactor 112 amp or heard one ?, im getting tired of my spider 112 sounding a little ''fake'' and am wondering if the claim that the atomic ''de-digitises'' the sound of an amp modeller.... cheeres

u want to try and avoid behreinger and line 6. they may be cheap but they lack tone, and duribility. i use kustom their cheap, lightweight, and have great tone, stanless steel shell. and really pack a punch with sound, even on stock pu's.

u may want to consider the 100 watt.

line 6 makes a few decent amp modellers, but the spider isn't one of them IMHO.
You could buy the AR amp, but it would only pollish a turd with the spider amp.
Your best bet is either use a Pod or an boss gt 6 or 8 with the AR.

Tech 21 Trademark 30... the 30W I have kicks ass. Impeccable sound clarity and you can shape your sound a LOT with all the settings and the EQ. It actually has a special 50W speaker, but it's a 30W amp. It's inconceivably loud barely past the "1"(doesn't really have numbers on it) on the volume knob. Also has 4 ohm speaker-out, Sans-Amp out, and headphone jacks. Only one channel, so no footswitch available for it, but if you want that then get the Trademark 60, their 3-channel 60 watt amp.

The Roland Cube 30 and Cube 60 are also good alternatives. Slightly cheaper than the Tech 21's.

generally, low wattaged systems suck... but look at bose speaker sets... their tiny 5.1 surround systems cant be above 30 watts a satellite, and theyre fucking loud, and crystal clear... but this has more to do with speakers than with amps

basically whether an amp is 15w or 350w that doesnt mean shit about how it's going to sound. ever played a fender blues jr? a dr. z? orange ad15? ect...

most of the tone shaping is done in the preamp, if you just talk watts, you're not even concerned about the preamp section.
