9V EMGs VS 18V EMGs, waht s the difference
Hello!
I want to know whicha re the differences between having 9v EMGs and 18 V EMG, except the batteries, of course, How sounds one and how the other.And which are the basicall diferences.

with 2 batteries they last longer than with 1 battery,
and ive heard sumtin that they sound tighter or less feedbacky or sumtin, but thats only a rumor (spelling) ive heard.

no.
more headroom. I don't know if they last longer, I don't really think so, I had my emg's wired for 9v before and went to 18v too, they lasted just as long.

If you wire them in parrallell they still give 9v but last longer, if you wire them in series they give 18v but last as long as usual.

you can use more volume before the signal distorts, basically you get more 'usable' volume and maintain your tone at that volume.
