I'm listening to them now In Umbra Militae......... One of the songs which is over an hour long it's well fucking weird but i love it  |

Oh, of course I´ve heard them...got a few tapes/CD´s...they are supposed to be black metal but I rather consider them as doom metal. Some songs are cool...too bad the quality sucks ass.
The rumours about the band, "IT" (haha) are funny too!  |

Yeah they are pretty doomy on the songs that are like an hour long do you think
they just went in the studio and fucked about with shit or something sounds like it sometimes  |

Abruptum is pretty cool, I have De Profundis Mors Vas Cousumet and In Umbra Malitiae Ambulabo, In Aeternum In Triumpho Tenebraum
both of which I like quite a bit

back to Abruptum!
De Profundis Mors Vas Cousumet is in my opinion the best Abruptum song, especially the way those dark twisted parts are intertwined with the strange keyboard parts, it's such a weird song. The feeling i get is of (when the keyboard part is on) floating around in space or something, then everything collapses (the dark black metally bit coms on) and hell is all around. and even more texture is added to the song when it goes quiet, sound all dark and "foresty" for a moment, then it's back to hell.. then into space hahah such a great song though
