Morley ABY pedal
Could someone explain to me how this Morely ABY switch pedal works? I want to have two heads (Peavy 5150 and Marshall JCM 2000) running through one cabbinet (Marshall) but also want to be able to switch between the two.

I don't think the Morley will do what you want- it will switch your guitar signal between two amps. To switch amp heads (especially tube) between a single cabinet, you need to have a constant load on the head thats not currently in use, otherwise you'll fry the output transformer. There are products that will accomplish what you want, but i think they are fairly expensive because its quite complicated to (effectively) switch dummy loads in and out

You'll need a separate cab I think ... you'd have to plug two heads into the same cab.

John just made me think..... if you had a stereo cab, you could plug both heads into it (one each side), and then use the Morley ABY to switch the guitar input between the two heads, that'd work. You'd obviously have to play around when mic'ing that rig up, but it'd work for sure Just remember its probably 8 ohms per side, not 4 like the whole cab i'd imagine

I also want to be able to put both heads on at once. How could I do that?

you would need to be running a stereo cab with one head into one side and the other head into the other side. or two cabs, one head into each. the aby box will split your signal between those heads.
