dont listen to that last guy. he's being a butthole

Binding a guitar is a pro technique. its time consuming and difficult to do properly even for a professional. Thats why only expnsive guitars have binding.

its generally not done as an after modification either. i am pretty sure you have to do it before the guitar is painted and finished.

sorry dude

Im sure there is something that you can add to it to give it the same effect.

Uhhh no....it's rather, "only expensive guitars have good quality on the binding."

Not really apart from the Marker that the other guy suggested.

What binding is, is when the guitars body is put together. to the corners of the guitars outside body are cut away.

The inverted gap left behind is then filled with a strip of Plastic i think it is to replace the wood that was cut away. Then the body is painted and finished and then the finish and paint has to be scraped away form the binding.

If you want photo's of the process go to www.gibson.com and take the factory tour. they show the process in detail there.

Sorry dude. but the only way to have a bound guitar is to buy it that way. of this i am fairly sure.
