Guitar amp suggestions

Greetings fellow metal heads! I've been playing guitar for a few years now and I've been using a cheap Kramer amp that came with my first guitar. It's been okay for a while and it's great to throw in the trunk so I can play wherever I go, but I need something bigger to go with my $500 Schecter.

What I would like is a medium-sized amp that can scream. I play a lot of metal, like Sepultura, Slayer, Metallica, Pantera, Meshuggah, and the Deftones, so I need an amp that can push out those deep, heavy riffs. I am looking for something in the $300-$500 price range (cheaper is great, though!).

I want it to be good at low volumes like playing at my house, but also good cranked outdoors/garage, since I play with some friends at parties and such.

Thank you for your help everyone! I really don't know much about amplifiers, so your help is greatly appreciated.

This should be in the Gear forum but thats ok. You're probably going to want a 2-12 if you want medium size. I would still suggest the Blue Voodoo or a Shockwave. But get them used.
