Your writing really helped me to remember many things I haven't noticed in a while,

This pain is all there is. I think you know this deep inside. Once it starts you are apart of it forever. Mama can't keep you from it forever.

Do you know what life is out side out being a child?

Suffering is what keeps us focused and alive.

You take your turn standing in the flame as an adult and pray you can give your kids a different chance.

Yet they are doomed to the same fate.

I know the way we will go until we are gone forever.

This isn't about the transformation from childhood to being a man because as far as I'm concerned I've had no childhood I was raised as a man so just get that out of your head cos you seemed to hint at that in that last one aswell, try something else.

It really sounds like something I wrote back when I was in my late teens and sick of my world the way it was. Those days when I wanted to life inside my box of ideals that I thought were perfect for me. Well, some of that happened, but there were a few detours and extra things I had no foresight of. I think the usage of "the system" is what triggered my interpretation, but that doesn't mean that's yours. I don't know if it's about any particular thing, but just a transition from looking at the past and contemplating making the future better. That can happen at any age, but seems more prevalent in a young adult's way of thinking.

You also could be using what you're fighting against as a metaphor and that can open up a lot of different things it could refer to. I'd like to know your perspective on it, but I also like things written in this manner that lets a random reader draw their own conclusion and personalize to their own situation in life.

You're getting 'confused' with a child because of the language in which you express yourself. If you don't want to be taken for an angsty teenager, cease to speak like one. It shouldn't be hard.

Here I'm just saying that you won't have to deal with as many 'wait until you're older' comments if you express yourself differently; your words don't give your ideas the confidence or maturity you feel they have. Unless I'm confusing you with somebody else, you're capable of better than you're showing. Maybe it'll be in the paper.

Ok, I'm glad you said that you put that well, ok I can accept that and maybe youre right, its just how you interpret that. Yeah there is no way for you to know and I'm glad you said that because I knew that aswell and that made it hard for me to try and put it to you the way I did because I thought you were gonna argue and just use that against me. Cool.

Sure my work can always do with improvement but then everyone can always be better.
