Yo shiznit.
It's funny that it came to this.
Ever since I was young I had this feeling,
A feeling of disgust.
And I've been a fool to ignore it.
But these days I have realised,
And it's now that I have found,
I was right all along.
Because you have fucked youselves beyond comprehension.

Friends? Girlfriends? Or the ever unknow Boy Friend? J/K. I think I could understand this too.
Even better, perhaps.
My friends=Many stories, fights, and ideas. I love them and I never want them near me again. We are different people because of what we have been through. We still respect each other but we never agree most times. We learn from each other now days and we live with it.

When I was a child I spoke as a child, but now that I am a man I have no use for childish ways.
I don't think that's an exact quote but darn close to it. Is that sort of what you're thinking? Just about ideas one might have had that have turned out to be falsehoods? We all have them all our lives. They never really end. That's something I thought happened when I was younger, but I've found out wisdom is something that comes with experience, failure, and successes.
What souli' said is very true, too.
I liked the piece though. Self-realization is pretty cool like that. Great you put it into words. Read it in 10 years and you'll probably see it all over again. Just remember there's also positives to those negatives or you wouldn't still be alive.

I think you guys are saying to me that I got older and realised thats not the way thngs are. This is the oppsite, things are exactly like I thought. I had minor views before and now as they grow they are more real and I should have realised this and believed in it earlier. I got older and realised I was right.
anyway LB read the other one

Well, that's still a realization even if it's just firmer confirmation of what you thought in the first place. Like proof of a theory.
I had to leave for church so that's why I didn't read the other one right away. I did as soon as I came home though.

Quoting the Apostle Paul doesn't really help persuade unbelievers. If he wanted Corinthians he damn well could have found it himself.
And you're not grown, Myles. You're over a year younger than my kid brother, and I'm not so arrogant as to decide I've grown to the point I already know everything. I don't care enough to comment on whether or not I think you're right, but you're a teenager with the luxury to spend time on this website. You don't even know what knowing shit feels like.

I didn't use the passage as something biblical, but meerly a fact of life. Even the slower kids I've known have told me about things they used to think that they know are different or the same. Especially in talking about their parents. If I'd wanted it to show a biblical sense I'd have said something about it being 1st Corinthians chapter 13, but I didn't. If one wasn't familiar with the passage it would have just been a quote by anyone like not knowing someone's life until you've walked in their shoes.
