Fruity loops question

Can I change time signatures on fruity loops? I have version 3.4 if that helps.

You have to adjust the BPMs to do changes in the time. Example would be like 6/8 and 12/8 time would be 180 BPM, if even time is at 120 BPM. You also need to adjust the number of beats. 6/8, 12/8 time, I use 12. You also have to group differently. Instead of groupings of 4 or 2, it would be 3 and 6. Heh, hope this makes sense.

Do you mean change BPM during a track? If so, the short answer is "No. You can't."

Well,

You can't make changes in time during your current sequence unless it's a division of the time your working, but hell, just make another sequence. I do it all the time.

No, you can. Its a bitch to do, but you can. I'm not at my home computer so I can't explain how to do it with out the program running infront of me, but I'll make a post later about how to.

Ah well, I'll be glad to be corrected. I've sat there for ages trying to do it before now. I use it to write stuff all the time and to make simple demos, but it's a right pain in the arse with only one tempo all the way through.

fruity loops pisses me off... i spend hours making a drum track and it sounds stupid with no tempo changes... sometime i run at like 400bpm so i can do different offbeats. you just have to double the spacing when your making the track so it still ends up being 200bpm. hope that makes sense
