Hi,

I'm going on a small vacation to Italy and I'm going to take this oppurtunity to buy some gear. I'm going to buy and ESP Standard Series Viper guitar. I want to get some new gear for it. I want to get some good single effect pedals for it since I am bord of using my Zoom 707II. I want some pedals that will make my guitar sound heavy (not muddy!) and clear without buzzing of other strings. What single effect pedals are good for that. Is using a Boss Metal Zone with a Noise Suppressor and an Equalizer good for that? I heard the Boss Mega Distortion is muddy so the Metal Zone sounds like a better pick. What do you think any suggestions.

id believe that itd be more expensive in italy....

Dude, three countries you show never go to for shopping: Norway, Italy and Japan. Britian is kinda expensive too.

And for the money you'd spend on a pedal, an EQ, and a noisegate, you could get an amplifier that does'nt require any of these, and end up sounding better overall.
