Guitar Rack

I'm looking at getting away from heads and going to a rack set up. I was thinking on a Mesa Power amp, Line 6 Pod pro, the korg rack tuner, BBE SM... any other suggestions?

Yeah,whats the budget?If you are ditching heads i would get a better preamp than a pod.Maybe an ENGL e530,570,Marshall JMP-1,ada mp-1,digitech,even a mesa preamp.Furman Power conditioner,EQ,Multi fx,Noise reduction-ISP Decimator,rocktron hush,ns2.Compressors,reverb/delay units.
there is so much shit you can get, really your only limits are your budget.

For starters, that would actually be a nice setup.

To hear a POD in action, get a clip of Vehemence playing live ( or damnit just listen to their records ). PODS can be very nice preamps, they're just endlessly tweakable, whether or not that's a deterrant or a catalyst for creativity depends on the disposition of the user ( I don't know about you, but I like having about 2498753095783 different knobs to fool with --- pretty much explains why I like POD XT's ).

PODs get great sounds. If you dont have the cash, a Behringer V-Amp would be nice too. (the FCB1010 is a great foot controller as well. I got it and it's great!)

Dont forget to factor in the price of a case and cables (you'll need around $100 reserved for cables...and another $100 for the case)

I have a rack setup (ENGL 530 ---> Peavey Classic 60/60 ----> cab right now, but i'm throwing in an intellifex and wireless soon). They're great for versatility, as long as you dont go nutso about it and get 237859234750932478 pieces of equipment. Every new piece dampens your signal chain.

PS: Peavey Classic Series = good cheap tube poweramps.
