I saw the rest saturday night, but Cryptopsy couldn't come -- apparently some bored Hell's Angels slashed the tires on their bus.

Ya, I saw Vader, Suffo And Cryptopsy when they came here....It was amazing...But ya, I would rather go see Annihilation of the Wicked Tour, I love Nile and Decapitated, Hypocrisy are pretty good 2...That would be a wicked show |

i saw nile last time w/ king diamond and nile sucked pretty bad. no energy what so ever, they were just standing still, not even head banging or getting into it. there was no energy that the crowd could feed off of. The bassist was the only one that really got into it when playing. I still wouldnt miss this tour for the world though.

So tonight was the night. I ended up getting off work, going straight to the concert. Got pulled over for the most bullshit bullshit, and rush hour into denver was a bitch so I only got to see spheres of madness. It was bullshit that decap played second, there better than that for a tour with 6 bands. I did get all there signatures (except martin since he left) on the new album. And got to talk to them a lot. Covan and vitek are pretty cool guys, covan explained to me the whole situation with martin and sauron. Martin actually got drafted into polands army, and sauron left cause, in covans words "his throat was getting sick". Talked to vogg about the new album for 2 seconds, he barley spoke english and was probably really stoned, he tried to explain to me what the best songs were i think. Other than that im glad i got to talk to decap and chill, even though it was a shame I missed most of the set and I have been waiting to see them for 2 years now... FUCK
Other than that Nile kicked some major ass, great musicians, (i didnt relize karl was that fat) and hypocrisy was way badass too. |
