Yeah, I have that on my computer, and I watch it all the time.
Was he the result of a freakin' chemical spill?!
As funny as that is to think about, just remember, he wasn't... for all wondering how you get that good...
YOU START PLAYING GUITAR WHEN YOU'RE FOUR AND PRACTICE EVERY DAY. There is NO secret to playing guitar, folks.

The resolution is to pooor for me to see clearely, but is he using all right hand fingers in some of those sweeps?
Jeez, still beats me how to make hammer-ons/pull-offs in such a bloody fluid fashion AND so fast. But, I guess its like you said, whoever it was - start when you're four and practice everyday.

it's like he wasn't even paying attention to what he was doing, he just pulled it out of his hat during like an intermission or something. you can't get much better

I wish that they would zoom in on his fingers. That'd be awesome. Were there two guitarists in Cacophony? If so I wonder how the other one felt about always being overshadowed by the awesomeness that is Jason freakin' Becker. And how did he get that damn yoyo on his finger? I don't see him putting it on at all unless he put it on before the clip. Which would explain a heck of a lot.

Friedman kept up with Becker...
Becker was the better guitarist, but Cacophony wouldn't have been half as good if they'd used some random virtuoso shredder instead of Friedman.

well together they were one kick ass band. jason technique/lead guitarist and marty a very good rythm guitarist. that is two of the best guitarist i've heard lately. but the thing that stands out is their stage/recording chemistry. sort of like billy sheehan and steve vai.

Yeah, Cacophony really kick in once the speedometer on your heap-of-shit car exceeds 70 miles an hour and you know that any form of crash means instant death
(happy memories of Cacophony before the CD sadly deceased)

I have a video of them playing speed metal symphony, but the resolution, camera work, and sound quality is all pretty bad.
