String savers for Edge pros?
My ibanez keeps breaking strings so I'm going to change the saddles. What is the best choice of saddles for Edge pros?

Um...
I would say the factory saddles are probably best.

LOL...
Hell of a simile. I wouldn't know of any other brand really. I guess the saddles from warmoth.com or allparts.com would prob do okay. They may just be wore out where the string breaks on the saddle, I don't know, I got a ibanez with an edge pro and it has never broke a string due to the saddle, so I'm not sure.

dude, it sounds to me like you're clamping them in too hard. Be gentle with it like you're putting your dick in a vice... you dont want to cut it in half... just hold it down.

I've never understood that some strings break often on some people. What the fuck? In my 1.5 years of playing I've NEVER broken a string....

agree'd
i have only broken a string once. was learning hendrix all day and i guess all my string bending just fucked it up.
There is a company. i cant remember their name though. they sell saddles made of graphite. they are meant to lessen the chance of string break apparantly.
dont know if they make em for that style of bridge though.
google "Graphite saddles"

Same here. I've only broken one string by accident ever and I use .10s and that was the day after I got my first guitar. It was probably tuned way up and I didn't even know.

Yeah I pick only sufficiently hard, I just don't abuse the lower strings(not to mention I don't strum hard like a retard). I saw some emo band playing at college and they were strumming their guitars like wild monkeys... I assume they break strings more often because of playing like that.
