A little help needed
well had the strings on my RAN drop lower and lower so took it in to my local shop for the guy to fix, he went to loosen the truss and found that it was already very loose. Now he says there is no tension at all and RAN should have tightened it before sending it out and it needs heat treating.
now if this is RAN's fault they should fix it up for free right?

Damn. I need to get a new guitar soon and I was seriously considering Ran, but now I don't know. I guess it could be a one-time thing...

That sucks for you man, I sympathise. As DeathCS said, your the first one of probably a million people to have that happen to you. I have gotten 2 rans, and both of them arriveed perfect. But yea, I'm sure they will fix it for free, but you may have to pay shipping.

do you live in a hot place?
Have to remember Ran's are made in Poland where yo pee freeze before it hits the ground.
if you live in like the Baha desert there coud be a thermal expansion problem

It could be a crappy truss rod adjustment but I doubt it because he's a serious craftsman. I think it might've been a bad selection of woods used for the neck, maybe the tree that wood was obtained from was like somewhat "deficient", maybe not good enought for a guitar neck purpose. That's my scientific take on it...
