Strange question
I have this old gibson v guitar. and the guy who gave it to me painted all the hardware on it black. even the tuners and shit. But it's horribly done. Is there some way to get the paint off ? some sort of chemical.? I would hate it to buy all new hardware for it. Thanks in advance

probeer afbijt ofzow, als t goed is kan je daar behoorlijk hardnekkige verf troep er wel af krijgen, anders word t schuren denkik

TURPENTINE (sp?) or any other kind of paintthinner. dunnno what it will do to the metal though...

i dont think that will take the paint off.
ive worked in a place where they paint and powdercoat, and they usualy needed some verry agressive stuff the get old paint of.
or sandblast it, but i dont think that will do any good to ur guitar parts

I tried some stuff. Bit it dind't work. I guess i'm gonna buy new parts for it. and while I'm at it. Paint the whole guitar and make it a little custom ^^
