Cassette Recording Question

OK, currently I am using a TASCAM 4 Track (1 Input) Cassette Recorder for my own personal recordings, and then mastering the sound on my PC with Acid Pro 4 and Soundforge (To Master). Now this has worked fine until I found that I would like to record drums, and 1 mic just won't suffice for the time being anymore. So my question is, should I save and get a mixer to record drums into the TASCAM, or should I sell the tascam to get a mixer and output into my PC?? I'm wondering if the quality of the drums on the cassette after using 4 mics on the drums into a mixer exporting the sound in mono would be good enough just for a demo. Either option will work. Thanks.
