I was just about broke in the store and I was picking up some things for Jr. and his fiance that were on sale ridiculously so if all else failed I'd put them on my credit card. I knew I didn't have my store card with me, but I looked in my purse once I got up to the counter anyways. I found a $80 I had stashed in there for a very long time in a place I'd have never put the card, but I looked there anyways. Must have been God telling me to open that place up to find it. I came home singing Van Morrison's "Whenever God Shines His Light" and sat down and wrote this song immediately. It isn't the first it's happened and I'm sure it won't be the last.

It sparked a great conversation with a good friend of mine about beliefs, religion, and things like that there for over 2 hours.
