I think it would help if you knew a little about the notes before you started. just need to know that each fret progresses half a step and what that means. You need to know that E and B don't have sharps as well, or that could fuck you up.
By the way, outlaw star was awesome.

all i kow is the line up of notes. so:
A A# B C C# D D# E F G G# (i probaly even made a mistake there im not even sure)
thats all i know bout notes(A)
and i got to learn the notes on the fretboard by learning scales.
also what id like to add, there isnt a way to learn guitar, its not like, i cant start learning scales until i know where what note is. juast practice whatever, and in time, thing wil fall in its place
atleaast thats what my guitar teacher tought me, and he is verry awesome at guitar

i know my scales and i hardly know where any of the notes are on my guitar (exepy all the Es and Ds and a few if i look real hard) i suggest learning the part of the crossroads duel where he hits all the Es on his guitar (thats how i know where there at)
heres how i play it:
-------------------12---24-----|
----------------5--------------|
-------------9-----------------|
----------2--------------------|
------7------------------------|
---12--------------------------|
those are all E notes, so if you know your musical alphabet, you can find the other notes, if you dont, here it is:
A-A#/Bb-B-C-C#/Db-D-D#/Eb-E-F-F#/Gb-G-G#
by the way, your frets are semi-tones away from eachother, so if you hit the E open, then the first fret, you would play a E and F, if you started on D you woiuld play D and D# or Eb (some notes have two names)

Yea,
You should know the order of notes, and that E to F, B to C are just a half step. Most of your scales and modes will familiarize you with notes around the neck. I would recommend learning your octaves like....
e---------
B--------5
G---------
D-----2---
A---------
E--0------
Find em for every span of 5 frets and on every string. This will help you visualize.

I would recommend learning where the notes are. One of the first things my teacher taught me was where the notes are. Once you know the A and E strings, the rest are easy to visualize.
It makes it much easier to communicate your ideas to other musicians.

Ok, but how long time does it take to learn all this notes on guitar??
Should we do like Zertonshfits do???
I have a picture wich shows all the notes, but only to fret nr 12, but it does not stop there right??? And what about "real" notes??the symbols you know, is this numbers on the frets practily the same thing, only that it is notes??

I would highly suggest learning all of your notes up the neck before learning theory. I wish I would have memorised them better. Take as long as it takes. I recommend learning to read notes. And the note on the 12th fret is the same note as the open string so if you had an E string it would be E again and everything would start over again at the 12th fret. I dont really understand the rest of your question..."And what about "real" notes??the symbols you know, is this numbers on the frets practily the same thing, only that it is notes??"

Oh ok I think I get what you're saying. And yea learn how to read sheet music. Buy a book or learn off the internet if you can find info. It will help you out alot Because it will get you in the practice of learning what notes are where and you can learn songs out of it instead of going up the neck trying to find a B and a C etc..etc. and you can also apply it to other intstuments.

Prolly just a typing error (and if not I doubt you're the type of forum dickhead to mind about other people correcting your post) but there's also an F#, it's only B and E that don't have these
Do as DavyGravie says and learn aspects through octaves, you'll soon realise the 'key' frets and know them in your playing. A great example to illustrate the subliminal joy of this method is that you probably already know that an open note is the same note as fret 12 on the same string. Beyond that, you'll soon pick up that the same note is also on the strings close by etc... Such as E is fret 12 on 6th string, fret 7 on 5th string, fret 2 and 14 on D string and so on, again as already stated it's '5 frets'. Simple things like this soon add up anyway.
At the end of the day though... I'd say learn theory passively, or at least don't go over assertive with leraning it 'actively' as it isn't in all honesty a fundamental aspect of playing guitar, unless you intend on becoming a cliché jazz guitar student, achieving a degree in jazz guitar then working at a supermarket checkout to support your ugly wife and possibly deformed children...

Aa, so that how it`s called in english-sheet music. Well i do not have the intetion to learn "sheet music". Because i don`t need it, for now. I am not exactly, to play classical music, to be able to understand those notes.
To learn the notes by thos e numbers ab c # and bla bla would fit me just fine.
But as i thought about it also, i wonder what is so good to learn these notes anyway, to know were all the D`s and A are???
I have a good picture, but it shows only the notes until the 12 fret, isn`t there any notes beyond 12 fret????
