.11s I've got one of my guitars with .10s and in D standard right now and the strings are a little sloppier than I would like.

Indeed, I have some 10-52's in D and they're too floppy on top and too tight on the bottom. I'm gonna get some 12-54's and tune it down a little more, not enough ball shaking "JUN JUN JUN" in this tuning....

Boomers are just the same guage as any other .11 set of strings(unless you get a custom set). I personally like boomers, I've got .10 boomers on my guitars right now.
