What whammy bar to get...
I may be buying an Ibanez with a locking trem soon, but it does not come with a whammy bar. I don't think the bridge is an Edge Pro or something either, something like Rock Pro II or something, but it looks just like an Edge bridge and the whammy bar is the clicking kind, not the screw-on type. Will a regular Ibanez whammy bar fit all Ibanez guitars with a tremolo bridge?

You have the buy the whammy bars designed for the Edge trems. Their the ones with the plastic fitted washer dealys. Their like $20 or so dollars on the net. I got mine from here

The Ibanez I'm buying does not have an Edge trem, will Edge bars still work with it?

This is an excerpt from a review for the guitar at Harmony Central:
The bridge is a Pro Rock'R II, which includes fine tuning knobs. This bridge does not lock, but is a free floating bridge that allows dives and rises, unless you load up the backside with four or five springs. The tremolo bar does not screw into the bridge, but instead it is simply pushed in until is "clicks" into place. The bridge allows top loading string changes, but requires a phillips screwdriver to make the change. The headstock includes a locknut that requires a allen wrench to tighten.

I'm getting a Kahler on my Ibanez called a Flat Plate (soon to be released) since I already have a trem system in mine but not a very good one.
I don't think the average joe can install them (Although I am learning). Take it to someone whom has done it before.

Yea,
I wouldn't attempt to install a floating bridge. Now, replacing the exact model or one quite similar I might tackle. Is that a x2n in the neck position?

Nah, I thought it was, but it's not.
Does anyone know if a plain ol' Ibanez whammy bar will work with this?
