That's pretty far from true, though I did take a reasonably nice day trip to Seattle. I pursue my education in Chicago, like I said. I'll move to the Pacific Northwest when I want to become a misanthrope, because the location is absolute beautiful. Cannon Beach in Oregon puts every beach on the East Coast, combined, to shame.


That, however, is very true. I have to do this from the library, which is no fun.

Well, while you're out there take a trip up to Rialto Beach in Washington in the winter. The rainforest is beautiful and there was only one person picking up driftwood on the beach when we were there. I'm sure that Oregon's coast is just as beautiful, but we didn't get there. wally took his g/f back up when she visited him. I'd love to go back. Perfect for anti-social types.

I'm not out there. I'm in Chicago. Why is everybody having trouble grasping this? Chicago is a large city in the Midwest. Washington State is neither a city, nor in the Midwest. It's in the Pacific Northwest. It's in an entirely different time zone. Let's review:

1. I am in Chicago.
2. Washington State is about two days' non-stop driving from Chicago. It is in a different time zone. It could not be contained within the borders of a city, even one as large as Chicago.
3. Therefore, I am not in Washington State.

Since I am not there, I can't check anything out 'while I'm there.' Are we absolutely clear? If not, please consult a map of the United States.

Well, after being in Chicago it would take a day just to get across it the traffic is so ridiculous. The rest of the time would be travelling rt 90 to the west coast. The west side of the Sound was the best part of being out there. I'm not a city person. It didn't take too long when bobpurgis and I went in the dead of winter, and we went sightseeing on the way. Personally, I was commenting on your comments about being out that way before and not that you were there now as was thought before when you corrected whoever.
