This album is a fucking masterpeice.. the Vocal Melodies are some of the best they have written. And the breakdown in "Storming Through The Burning Fields" is amazing! More bands should try and be as good as Dragonforce.

.. i've heard them live on on the Maiden tour ....
although i must say that the drummer is really quite good....
... but probable thats why they had him drown the guitars in volume ....
... for me they are just a new Hammerfall group or smth. like that...

Dragonforce are awesome, but i can only listen in small doses, or else im gonna need some nachos with all that cheese  . I've only heard "through the fire and flames" off the new album and i must say, its sexiness matches its guitar-shred goodness. I just listened to Dragonforce for the first time today. Downloaded a video, and OMG the guitar playing is just fucking insane. Their so quick, and the tapping is just killer. Both guitarists kick ass too!, it's not just one. I can't stand the vocals though, just not my swing. Will venture into more though for sure.

Compromise: they're both with execrably lyrics annoying sung (or 'sung') people like them because the love for technical virtuosity among metalheads has outgrown any kind of desire for good or interesting songwriting. A handful of bands in either genre are wortwhile but most are so much annoying wanking.
