Double up?
Not a drummer but I have a question. My drummer has a second bass drum and he uses a double bass pedal (but only on one drum). On the left pedal their is a slot for a beater (I think thats the right word ). Is it possible to use a second kick with a better on the left pedal thus having 1 on left and the two on the right and have it so that the left one is slightly later than one of the others so that it doubles over the sound? This when my drummer does his left kick he gets a double. I have seen the Duallist but thats like 300+ for the tripplet. Thanks

no
the problem you encounter is when you hit with the left which ever beater is a bit forward will hit the skin and stop the other one from hitting, or they will be close enough that it will sound like one hit.
good idea though!

Thats what I was thinking... Is their any way to do this? Like some sort of device that would give slack so that when it did hit, it wouldnt stop? Or some other attatchment for a double bass?

I am sure you could engineer one up if you REALLY wanted, could be a bitch to design, but I know of no such things availible commercially!
