yea...like any help would be appreatied...
yea im new to this...im not sure if this question would go in the gear or guitar section...but i think it fits better in here. any way... I jus bought new strings for my guitar...big ones like the low e is a 60...and the d string keeps popin out of the place holder. My frien told me that a floyd rose would stop that from happining but every floyd rose ive seen was like a tremelo bar. Are there any that are not...or at least dont have the bar...caus ei dont think it would fit on my guitar. Im reletivley new to guitar like 4-5 months and i know about some of the disadvanteges of the floyd rose already...but any help would be greatlt appreatiated. Thanks

Man, I get real sweaty after I wack my dong. Yeah, cause I headbang while I do, and I can't really "Jump" (haha ) like VanHalen in a dorm room, so I just walk back and forth....haha a couple days ago I was jumping up and down on my bed, with my pants down and my roommate came in when I wasn't looking, hahaha.

the string is just too big for your nut. Nothing is going to change that. Buy smaller strings, or get a nut with larger slits for the strings.
EDIT: the new nut would have to be custom made, i had to get one and it cost $30. Not bad.

Why did you buy big strings in the first place? I assume you are downtuning.
If you just bought them for the hell of it and just tune it standard you should just buy standards.

Floyd Rose is a brand of tremelo bridges (im not sure if they make non-tremelo's) Floyd rose make guitars too.
There are Origional floyd rose's which are the good ones, then there are Lisenced floyd rose bridges, which arent as good.

if youre only 4-5 months into the guitar...did you happen to play bass or something before?? Big ass strings are hard to play...it requires more strength than regular ones...take your 4th(pinky)...if you really think about it...your 4th has never picked up so much as a pencil...your entire life...maybe you should just concentrate on the basics
