This Godless Endeavor
Following Soilent Green's example, Nevermore's latest album has leaked and is available on the internet. Go like it.

Im having alot of trouble getting it, but the first half of the first track sounds awesome!
Steve has definately had a positive influence on the band.

I have the promo CD.. good shit. The riffs are actually interesting this time.. and the singer isn't as annoying. Now I have more to look forward to than Loomis' solos!
I'll be buying this one. Plus Loomis' has finally stopped cutting his mids.. he has actual TONE on this album

I really don't see why Warrel on this would be found any less annoying than elsewhere. He always just sounds like himself. Maybe you just finally turned that corner where you're used to it.
And yeah, they're always best when they've got somebody else playing with Jeff. I hope they actually keep him this time.
I'll ignore the riffs comment only because this album blows Enemies away so totally it's hard to get myself to listen to it when I've got This Godless Endeavor around.
But the best part of the record's the guy saying 'You're listening the the new Nevermore album, This Godless Endeavor, out on Century Media records' twice on every track. I love it when my music reminds me what it is. I sure hope they don't get rid of it for the actual record, especially when it's over the best riff or the lead of a given song.
Oh, and somebody do me a favor and actually fuckin' tab this one. It's got technicality 'n stuff so you can feel okay about tabbing something with clean vocals.

Maybe... just seems like the less flamboyant on this album.. I still hate how he double tracks his vocals.

It's not just a part, it's the best part, BLS.
He doesn't really sound less flamboyant to me. But on the other hand I've liked him for a while now.

I'm skeptical, since you don't like songs from Dreaming, the best American metal album ever.

This Godless Endeavour
Sacrifce just got in This Godless Endeavour by Nevermore. That's one brilliant album. Heavier, and darker I think.
I'm tabbing Final Product at the moment. We downloaded it before, and thought it sounded slightly different to the rest of Nevermore's discography before we saw it was on the new album.
What thoughts have we on it?

Nevermore is the greatest thing to ever come out of America. That said, TGE is 4th on my list, behind Dreaming, Politics, and In Memory.

Is the song "Lost" on that album? Or maybe it is "Born" that I like so much.

Not only are there a handful of Nevermore threads, there is another one called This Godless Endeavour. Merged.
Is 'Search' that confusing?
