8100 Valvestate Pot Change

I recently purchased a '95 Marshall Valvestate 8100. There was some minor cosmetic issues but one of the knobs is actually broken. The guy at the store said that the pot would require changing. Have any of you done this type of work before? I may look into changing it myself sometime. I can still turn the knob but the 'stem' is broken and the knob is missing.

Who else has an 8100?

Any reason you own it, in particular?

For some reason, these models stand out like a sore thumb. Don't worry, I got it for the same reason too.

changing pots shoulds present a challenge if you have even basic solder skills..

just make sure it has the same values, and the same type (liniar tape vs. volume)
