Seymour Duncan SH-6 OR SH-8 Invaders Pickups for Low Tunings

In your opinions, which pickups are recommended OR which do you prefer to use for low tunings such as B ? I have recently set up my old Japanese B.C. Rich Iron Bird N.J. to B and will be installing a new bridge pickup.

What kind of sound do you want? If you just want a realy hot distortion and just one sound will do, try the Seymour duncan invader, dimarzio X2N, or maybe and EMG 81 or 85. I also heard the Bareknuckle "warpig" is a pretty nice humbucker, but I can't comment on that, since I never heard or tried one in action.

The invader gets pretty muddy when you tune that low.

Cool... Would you recommend the regular Seymour Duncan Distortion SH-6 instead of the Invader SH-8 for a B tuning ?
