Problem with my Mockingbird!
The input in my neck-thru NJ series Mockingbird seems to have went out! It isn't a soldering issue either, since a signal is still present when I plug the guitar in. It seems to be producing a well pronounced feedback with the notes being barely decipherable underneathe the wall of fuzz. Should I take it in or is it something minor I can fix myself?

I had the same problem, it is indeed a soldering issue. There are two wires soldered onto your input jack; one of them came loose. Simple. Open it and re-solder the one disconnected wire and you'll be good to go.
Now, my immature first response to this thread

try different cables and also try it with different amps.
if it doesnt sound right with other eqipment, then its guitar prob.
if it does sound alright, then the cabling or the amp is fucked, possibly speakers.
more than likely, if its guitar, then trace ALL wiring and connections, probably a loose connection.
could also be a shitty pot or switch.

yes do that. I had the same problem a while ago, and realised the soldering on the amp's input had come loose.

Yeah, that's probably why. Now while I'm not a fan of newer B.C. Riches this is an older one, so it's not crappy. It's a shame B.C. rich went as low as they have.
