low tuning .....

i have a floyd rose equipped guitar like most duh...
but i wanna tune down a whole step or what ever

im wondering how do i tune it down
and keep the bridge straight?
every time i try it the bridge sinks

You need more or tighter springs in the bottom if you are gonna be using a different gauge of string and a lower tuning.

And you will need to adjust the tension screw which the springs are attached to. Im sure those links explain it.

RILI EASY, screw in the screws attached to the springs, keep tuning, and screwwing in or out, untill the bar is balanced and in tune.

there ya go, no links needed

serious, its rilli easie, try it a few times, and after a while ull have shit like this done in a few minutes goodluck

but if i do have more prolems i know who to ask.

btw does anyone know what tuning paul gilbert tunes to when he was in racer x?

You're gonna have to adjust the spring tension. You know the two screws in the back of your guitar? If the bridge is going up tighten the tension. If it goes down then loosen it.
