Fruity Loops, but for retail you'd need to be a pirate (har har). I know hammerhead rhythm station is free.

Hmm, so I'm thinking of getting a program to do the drums for my music coursework, which one most closely matches my criteria?
- Easy to get the hang of.
- Has a wide variety of "real" sounding drum samples. (In particular, I'm planning to add Jazz style drumming)
- Guitar tracks (MIDI tracks as well) can be imported into the program.
Any ideas? I'm going to be downloading it from somewhere, so don't mention cost...

I use FL too, it works great. The newest version has some pretty good drum samples, too.

Alright I downloaded v6.04 XXL edition, and there aren't many sounds to choose from. Where can I download extra sounds?

Sort of. I downloaded a demo version which came with a registration patch. So I guess it's got all the features, but none of the samples.
