Harmonic Minor
I know (or I think I know) that a harmonic minor scale has a flat 3rd and a sharp 7th, so if i were the make a harmonic major would i just sharp the 7th and thats it? Is there even such a thing as a harmonic minor?

Yes, there is a harmonic minor scale. It's the same as the natural minor scale (Aeolian), with a major 7th tone instead of the minor 7th tone.

Hope this helps!

He's asking about the possibility of a harmonic major scale, though.

Oh... I misread the question. Sorry. To play the harmonic major scale just start the harmonic minor scale three scale tones up (Relative minor--3frets--Relative major) from the minors scale tone. You may interpret the theory different, but to me the harmonic major still has a b3rd, b6th, and a #7th, you just play a mode of it to get the major, but theoritically, it just has a b6th tone, the rest are major scale tones. Check It Out
Hope this helps.

It's not a widely used scale...I can't remember which song, but Children of Bodom do use it. I'll get back to you on that one.

Harmonic Minor
How do i go about playing the harmonic minor in all keys. I know that the harmonic minor is 1 2 3b 4 5 6b 7 so lets say i use the key of c so then i get C D Eb F G Ab B. Do I just make shapes in that key and then move them around? so if i wanted to play in the key of " A" id start on a "A" note ? if i learned the circle of Fiths would that help me at all or. But yeah what are some suggestions?
Thanks

Exactly. To play the harmonic minor in a different key, start with scale with that note as the root.
