Saw them when they came to San Antonio with System Of A Down. They're alright, they're from Austin I think.

I have been made to listen to them before now. I didnt really enjoy it. The vocals, I seem to remember, grated on me, but I cant be sure. Some parts were ok but its nothing I've seeked out on my own now...soooo. In my opinion theres tons of bands that are doing the same stuff, but Im admitedly ignorant of the whole scene that they are a part of. Im not a big fan of people who listen to stuff like that, and roam around thinking they are so alternative because z0mg they listen to so and so. Again, I am ignorant of the scene and this is going off on a tangent. I dont wish to insult anyone who listens to the band, either, but around here it seems you have to like that sort of stuff if you are a student. Do you have any recommendations of theirs, though?

I fucking love The Mars Volta. Amazing stuff - not to mention their live performance! They're known to improve for hours. Although, I don't think FTM lived up to Deloused (one of my favorite albums).

I just saw them 2 nights ago and yea there seems to be some sort of mix up with the opening bands the band before the mars volta was hella and they fucking sucked. Do yourself a favour and miss them.
