Here is a link to some pics of my swedish KKV based guitar. Ordered at the same time as my Urban Camo KKV Ran Guitar:

Maple neck thru, ebony fretboard, maple body, EMG 81/81, Floyd.
I will get it this saturday and I´ll post a complete review of it than...

That looks fuckin brutal
The only thing im not too sure I like is the headstock, it kinda looks like the end of an ice-hockey stick.
But its nice for a change from... well, every other V out there.

"Jag vill gärna ha den" is swedish. That was danish I think... But close!
Of course he´ll ship to the U.S. He is a hobby builder. He used to build furnitures in the early 80`s. But now he´s a teacher at an university in Guthenburg and got this as an hobby building guitars. But he seems to know what he´s doing...
Send him an email and see what he says...

If You compare to BC Rich US Custom it´s half price. I think ESP charge the same for their KKV. Around 4000 USD. Than add taxes, shipping, custom fees and all that You gonna end up with a guitar around 35-40.000 kr. And one year wait. I hate waiting! And not getting sex...

LOL!
I see. I don´t speak any danish so I don´t really know how it spells. But it´s similar to swedish so I guessed it was danish. The "jeg vil" instead of "jag vill". You see the connection?? Dansih, swedish and norweigan are the same, just different dialects soft of...
I can usually talk swedish to people from Denmark and Norway and they still understand me and vice versa. Danish can be a bit of a problem if they talk fast...

is it just me, or is the neck like... barely hanging on... and about all that space behind the bridge... awkward.
oh dude, fuck the coffin case, theyre HUGE and theyre fucking cheap. If you dont have a van, you'll have trouble carrying it around. And they look like they've been made in sweat shops... all the interior walls and stuff are just velcrowed in after being coated with glue.
and
banana head + v =

Yea, I know. I work as a security guard at Stockholm Airport so I meet people from both Denmark and Norway all the time. Don´t got no problems with people from Norway, I understand them but some danish people... They talk too fast! But they seem to get what I´m saying anyway.

I have to agree. The Ran kicks ass! I hope this guitar will be really nice playing on but it don´t look as cool as the Ran KKV. So my future guitars will be from Ran. Next guitar coming up from Ran is an ESP KKV red crackle copy with Kahler. But that will have to wait until X-mas or so...
I had 3 jobs at the time I ordered these guitars. No I only got 2... So I thought I´d better buy some guitars while I have money, ´cause now I´m poor again. As usual.

But look at the popularity ratio between ice hockey and field hockey though. Plus that doesn't look remotely like a field hockey stick. That'd make for one fucked up headstock.

When I first got into Slayer back in 92-93 Kerry King had his ESP KKV with the banan headstock and I just love that guitar! So that´s why my guitar got that headstock. Ok, 2 out of 4 them got the widow headstock, but...

I got it a few hours ago...
It´s awesome! It´s really heavy, both in weight and in tone. Great sustain and really easy and comfortable to play. A little bit thicker neck than the Ran RDV, it´s similar to my US Custom BC Rich KKV´s neck.
Overall a great guitar! I´m pleased!

It´s hard to say which is the better one. They both good but in different ways. The Ran looks cooler, got a thinner neck. The Swedish/Wallby RDV got a thicker neck but it still feels great (same as my US KKV´s neck), but not as great as the Ran. The Wallby sounds better and got better sustain. It´s ALOT heavier. It´s carved above the Floyd trem so it feels great for my right wrist. The trem is placed a little bit higher than on the Ran, I like that more. The 3-way toggle switch is placed under the bridge pick up on the Wallby so it´s easier to reach, ´cause I often use the neck pick up when I play solos. I gonna use this guitar when we gonna record our album this winter but I think I´ll go with my Ran on more songs when playing live. This is the joy of having more than one guitar. My BC Rich got Kahler, which is cool on some solos and when we do Slayer covers live. The Wallby RDV sounds great with great sustain. The Ran RDV got a lovely neck and looks really cool! I´m also waiting for a 7-string RDV from Ran Guitars; Camo paint and R D WAR inlays, widow headstock, maple neck thru, EMGs. I was told mid november.

We did some recordings with drum machine with our new songs. That was with the Ran Camo RDV. But not with the EQ I bought yesterday. That peace of gear was great by the way! Samson 15 band EQ.

Been trying out the 3 guitars I got at the moment; BC Rich US Custom KKV Tribe, Ran Guitars RDV Custom and my Wallby RDV. And I have to say that the Wallby is the best one.
