Sideshow Symphonies
New Arcturus album. The music is, to me, their best performance ever. Unfortunately the album doesn't feature Garm, and the new singer sort of sounds like a drunken karyoke version of Garm. All in all, its cool stuff.

I was gonna buy an Arcturus cd at one point, cuz they are real good. Is the new album like thier other stuff?

Well its similar but different. Progression I suppose. More guitar solos, a bit less experimental too. |

Yeah, Demon Painter sounded really good too... I downloaded this album recently but have not listened to it yet. Although I love La Masquerade Infernale and the Sham Mirrors, those albums are godly, some I'm guessing this one to have a similar level of ass kicking.

Since Arcturus has Garm and Vortex rotate in the vocal department, I nominate Mike Patton as the next singer.
Good stuff though.

man, This is an crazy album..... I know Arcturus for a long time now, in this is by far one of their best releases, next to sham mirrors.....
Especially the song "Evacuation Code Deciphered" is one of my favorites.... Yeah this album is basically a fusion of Sham Mirrors and La Masquerade Infernale. Less experimental indeed but now even more progressive....
