guitar help
Okay, my guitar is tuned to B standard to begin with. and on the second string ( F# ) when i push down on the 5th fret I hear buzzing. But when i push down on the secon or third fret it's just fine. All the other strings are okay too. the first string etc. And I can't see any warpage in the neck. Sorry for the stupid explanation but i'm dutch  What's the cause of this ?

You just need a minor neck adjustment, probably due to a change in weather.

truss rod doubtful. I think it's a problem with your fret wire. I'll leave this open, but search this forum because there are other threads for this exact problem.

Man, I get real sweaty after I wack my dong. Yeah, cause I headbang while I do, and I can't really "Jump" (haha ) like VanHalen in a dorm room, so I just walk back and forth....haha a couple days ago I was jumping up and down on my bed, with my pants down and my roommate came in when I wasn't looking, hahaha.

I thought so too. But nothing seem to help. so I took it to a guitar tech. and now the buzzing is gone and he won't tell me what the problem was. very irritating.

Then that guy is a dick ,its not top secret rocket scientistry , the schmoe should have explained the problem so you know how to avoid it or fix it yourself next time. get rid of the asshole if you could fine another tech. |
