Unless the cables is manufactured to block ALL interference or some shit....who knows....

Well they do seem better built, unlike the cheap $4 guitar center cables that wear out on the ends in like 3 weeks.

You know you can make your own cables with the same stuff and for a hell of a lot cheaper? All you need is a soldering iron and some practice and you will build a cable that just as good if not better, plus when it starts to wear ( they all do in time ) you can repair it.

Lavacable doesn't look that cheap... What about Mogami cables? I've seen they're about the same price, supposed to be really good. I'll be buying an NS2 soon. I have a Monster cable which will go to the NS2, so I'm buying a shorter higher quality cable like a Mogami or Lavacable that will go to my amp. My question is: will the NS2 block the noise from my Monster cable or should I just get two brand new cables?

Bulk cable ordering is how I got started. The Canare GS-6 I use is a better cable than the Mogami though and that is why I use it. Neutrik and G&H plugs are better that switchraft and do not cost much more.
My cable comes with a lifetime warranty because I am school-trained electronic assembler with years of experience.
My whole aim is to offer a cable that is actually better than Monster at 1/3 the price and $29.95 for a 20 footer is very reasonable. The cable comparision article on website rated the Canare I use better than both the Monster and the Mogami.
Thanks for the plug in one of you other posts in this forum.

He does have a point. He seems cool and seems to know what he is talking about so let him post if he likes. We might all learn a few things we didn't know about cables from him.
I do like Neutrik plugs better then Switchcraft as well. What kind of solder do you use? I use silver electronic rosin core solder. Not as strong as other solder but it does conduct a bit better.

I use WBT silver solder - made in Germany. Lead free. Killer stuff. I believe there is no better solder out there for audio applications.

No lead! Wow, I'm going to go check that stuff out. I can't believe it doesn't have any lead. At least it will be better for me to use health wise.

i like the 2524 and switchcraft 226SWI ends for holding my rack gear and pedals together. it's really great stuff, gives a "soft" sound instead of a bright, and sometimes brittle sound that my old monsters gave me, it's really low noise. for my main guitar cord i like neutrik ends. not because i find them sonically better than the switchcrafts, but because they seem more sturdy for that application. i would never state that the neutriks are flat out better, nor switchcraft.. it's just what i prefer for a certain task.
i have a couple canare speaker cables though. very nice stuff.
monster's warranty cannot be messed with though. as long as it's a monster, it's going to work or you'll get a new one. whether it's a bad solderjoint or you and your freinds were playing tug a war.
