NS Custom Guitars
Hmm.. I just found this link for a guy called Neil Shoemark making custom guitars and the like.
I checked out some info on Harmony Central and apparently they go for around £400 (you can never be too sure about the actual review though).
He's based in the UK, and I was wondering if anyone has actually heard of him? I'm asking because I'm thinking of getting him to make me a Marilyn shaped body.

ive never heard of them, but im pretty sure theyre a lot of custom guitar builders that arent that pricey.
im getting a custom build by a dutch guy, he charges 1200euro for where ran charged 1770euro

i bought an ibanez neck from him a while back, which he had been using as a template for making jems.
he seemed like a nice bloke, very freindly honest and gave me a good price, but the neck he gave me was an EX series, (ie not wizard, different pocket).
so either hes been making jems without a wizard neck, or i missunderstood him.

specs as follows:
Alder Body les paul shape with flame maple top - Neck thru
rosewood fretboard
Schecter style headstock
EMG81/85 and a Seymour Duncan Hotrod config
String thru bridge
1200 euro
Not to bad considering the ESP version of something similar is 2400, and thats with only 2 doubles instead of 2 doubles and a single.

Haha, I don't want a new guitar, I just want him to make me a body, I've got all the other parts lying around, so I might as well put them to good use. Besides if it's over £130, I'm not getting one. |

my specs
heres my specs. im sure ill leave something out but i just want a price.
an iceman body.
mahogany body
flamed maple top
green to black fade(sunburst with green on inside an black on out)
set neck(dont have size specs) ibanez wizard 2, maple
ebony fret board/ jumbo frets/ 24
regular dot inlay
gotoh tuners
pickups: HH. bridge dimarzio x2n/ neck dimarzio paf pro
no trem. any bridge that will hold tuning. tune-o-matic i guess.
chrome hardware
can you wire the paf pro the be coil tapped. just put a button or on a nob like fender.
a two way selector switch on top part of guitar
one volume nob one tone nob.
and i want the input to be wired up like on the ty tabor electric, or the joe satriani.
im sure ive forgotten something, but fill in those blanks with something on most stardard guitars and it will be fine. i just want a quote.
