Marty Friedman vs. Paul Gibert Shred-off

I thought since garr1 is posting all these awesome vids (thanks mate! ) I'd follow the spirit and post this: an episode of the Japanese tv show Hieban, with Friedman and Gilbert both doing loads of guitar stuff, playing riff challenges (as you do) and speaking japanese. I put this on the Shredaholic.com videos page here, its the second link (after mario shred).

wait 45 seconds for it to let you download when you get to the page with loads of adverts, it has a timer that counts down, when its done you click it and it downloads. Its 40mb and 24mins long...

Hahah yeah, but it's even funnier if you understand what they're saying. I knew Marty spoke Jap, but I didn't know that he was THAT fluent.

Because most american radio stations dont play heavy metal , Usually only college stations or pirate radio .and MTV here sucks except Head Bangers Ball which is OK.
I agree it sucks here for metal exposure. I live in a major market NYC and there is no real good metal stations , classic rock yes , Nu metal Emo metal yes , rap yes , Real Metal NO

Darn. I was hoping I could find the tabs for it somewhere. Pop has never sounded better. They should give more to marty and Gilbert.

Dude, I can't help but wonder if that's real. Cuz I mean, that sweep was like fucking PERFECT. I mean, can't even think how it's possible to sweep that perfectly, with your teeth, when it's hard enough with your fingers.

^ its not, its pre-recorded on one of gilberts pedals and he gets marty to hit the switch when he fake sweeps with his teeth. Also did anyone find paul's delay pedal (at least i think it was a delay pedal) cool, especially when he loses and does the cliched dramatic thing. That was awesome.
