Hi again!

I was thinking of getting a Jackson 7-string but I can't seem to see any available in their catalog. Seems like they do but custom made. So instead of paying more for a custom, I thought I'd get a normal 6-string and downtune that to B.

What I'd like to know is how the string tension would be like if I tuned it that way. Would the strings be too loose?
And if anyone has a link for Floyd Rose setups especially about this downtuning issue, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Jackson actually made some prduction 7's in the 90's. One of them being a RR7 that I would like to get a hold of and vamp the hell out. You can also detune a 6 string easy without any problems.

Edit: Sorry about the floyd thing but I haven't used them in years now.

Btw, I took a look at the Carvin website. They seem to make great guitars and they're not as expensive as Jackson and ESP.

Jackson makes a bunch of 7-strings, Look on ebay to get them cheap, i just saw a couple of them on there.

bout the strings:

if u would play 09 in E u would play the same in B, but with an extra 52 string, and them take the 09 away.
