problem's with intonation...........

ive had my ibanez for a while and have had problems with it ever since i bought it.

when i play chords etc...from 1st fret to about the 10th-11th
its totally fine but as soon as i get to the 12th up to 24th
and i play some solo's ts sounds awefull cuz none of the notes are in tune.i want to know if its got anything to do with the intonation
cuz its really pissing me off now.

any advice tips etc......much appreciated

Sounds like an intonation problem to me too, I recently did this on my Ibanez, I used this site for help.

Edit: it has instructions for floyds too.

Check the notes after the 12th fret and see if they are in the correct note or not. If not than it is an intonation problem if they are the correct notes than it is some other problem. Intonating my guitar is easy. I tune the open string to the correct note and than I fret the twelve fret and compare it to the open fretted note. If they are the same no need for intonating it. If they aren't I simply turn my saddle screw clockwise if the fretted note is sharp (away from the pickup and fret board) and counterclockwise if the note is flat (toward the pickup and fret board). I keep doing this process until it is as close as I can get it. But I have a problem that my saddles reached the maximum end in many of my strings and I cannot adjust them any longer.
