Synthol is an absolute joke on bodybuilding. You shoot oil into your muscle, and it just stays there for a length of time(several months I believe). There are pro's that use synthol, but in very minimal doses(touch-up spots).
It's hugely popular in Brazil.

I don't know, but the subtitles were added as a joke and don't actually represent what the synthol guy was talking about. You can even tell by the slang used in the subtitles that the jokester was probably from somewhere in the UK. The video was hilarious, by the way, so thanks for sharing.
I never did get the appeal of synthol. It almost always looks faker than a stripper's tits and doesn't give you any sort of functional strength.

Moderation, yea. I'm moving to a new apartment. Now, I live on the fourth floor (did until a few hours ago) and the elevator in that building has all the speed and agility required to hunt down a piece of lettuce. Nah not for the Olympics just 1279 total on bench, squat and deads which is probably a little high. 1200 is more realistic at this point. |

I've pretty much stopped doing weightlifting, I'm a 165 lb twig now. I can do 10 mile runs and carry an 80 lb pack for miles though. Also, shitloads of push-ups, pull-ups, etc.

I actually have a gym membership now. I will always be very twig-like, but I'm just using it to stay in/get in better shape. I want to maintain the muscle mass I have, maybe build it up a little, and do a bunch of cardio to make my heart proud. Eventually it would be nice to be a cardio freak who can do crazy hikes and runs without pain.

It does suck. I have a recurring injury in my left wrist and I've taken to wrap it up in bandage even when it's not that bad, because if I don't I'll be a moron and start training before it's healed. Guess it's true you can get hooked on endorphins or whatever the hell it is.

Hmm, I've never felt bad after, I have felt really bad during exercise though.

How the fuck did you get stung 15 times in your ankle? I can see that making one sick, that's a lot of venom (its venom, right? poison has to be ingested?).
My girlfriend has been doing volunteer work with bee keepers. I don't know why but it seems pretty cool. She said they literally picked up a fresh honeycomb rack-thing, brushed off the bees, poked it, and let the fresh honey drip onto bread to eat.

Well, my dad has a bee-keeping hobby, and owns two hives. One of the hives birthed a new queen, so the hive split up and moved to the top of the tree. We were working on getting it down, my dad wanted me to climb up the tree and shake them off the tree and into a box so he could start a new hive. I had a beesuit on but forgot to put on boots so my ankles were exposed. Those little fuckers found the weak spot right away. I dont think I ever climbed down a tree that fast, or ever told one of my parents to go fuck themselves before this.
Usually they are very non-aggressive, you can walk right in front of their hive and they wont give a shit, the problem is when you start shaking them.
The honey is usually worth it for the amount of work bees require. (not very much) I dont think they are expensive either.

I love fresh honeycomb. Maybe with all those stings you'll develop an immunity. They do bee stings for pain relief which is kind of weird, but supposed to wrk if you aren't allergic. I hope you feel better soon. That could have been tragic.

Idk what mine is now but probably moderately high. Definitely higher than 12 inches, Bass, haha. My brother just did a report about this for his senior project. He raised his vertical 5 inches. Really difficult to do even with the best programs.

There is a difference between a vertical jump and a box jump. I think a vertical jump is only the measure of the jump, and not how high you can lift your legs after you jump. So when you jump up and keep your legs straight, its measured from the floor to the bottom of your foot. |

My friend and I cleaned out her shed that has about 100 years of accumulated stuff in it. She was a body builder at one time, but she has COPD. Thank goodness it was cool out today because we put in a good 8 hours working today. Snow blowers and lawn mowers are heavy stuff. I feel strong like bull.

My husband said he squated down to pick up a box at work and couldn't get back up again. There wasn't anyone around to help him so he had to struggle. That's from his avf though. Just throws a little different light on it for me.
