The smell of rain in the air
The hidden sun that hides it's face
Opens up the door that allows the light
To walk inside the soul
It may be grey outside, but inside it's warm

(up the tempo)
Fluently fabricating fascinating fractions
Of phonetically appealling apperitions
That float metaphysically through my head.
Smiling at the playful memories of the old days.
Inhaling deeply the feelings of the fat cat
With the grin on it's face
As it disappearing into the leaves of the tree
Where it sits

(slower)
Skip the conversation and mime the falling rain
Across the strings of a guitar
Deeper and deeper with bass thunder punctuation
The lighter random heavy drops falling down the windows
Burn the lamp, afterglow

(Resolution)
Lastly dreaming of the haunt
The voice whispered to the soul
That's dissolved into spirit and personified
And relish in the melancholy or the joy
Or the tears it releases
Smiling today in the rain.

myeh... it was alright... the first had a few nice lines... the second as well.

It's all one piece actually, but thanks for reading it and commenting. It was written more for my own pleasure than anything, but I thought I'd share it since it was different than what I've been posting.
