how do i play this .....




17 16 17 and theres like a arched line starting at the first 17 connecting the second 17 that goes over top of the 16 leaving it just in the middle. does that mean i like pull off 17 and hammer back on to 17 while i pivit with my finger ont he 16 or w\e

Yeah, pull off to 16 and hammeron the 17

what tab are you looking at? and yes it means to play legato or to play without picking (except for the first note)

i was looking at the symphony of destruction tab by Megadeth

Ehh, i cant really see it, but if its like a jagged line, play 17, push wammy down to 16, than back to 17, which sounds cooler to me. But it being an arched line, its definately legato.
To be honest, you should be able to answer the question in a second by just listening to the song. Tabs are almost never 'perfect'.

Also, pick a better megadeth song than that. Play like 'tornado of souls' or something, that song kicks my ass.
