I really like that strat, how much do you think it will end up costing?
I would go for the Dinky if i already had that model of strat though, i hear really good things about the dinky.
Though depends what you play.
I would rather the strat because I play metal, but a lot of rock/blues too.

ya same here, but the thing is, its my dads, not mine (i probably should have stated that), so theres a big restiction on down tuning and i dont have another guitar that has a trem, plus they dont make the Spyders anymore and the bidding stops in 6 days
stupid everything...

Sounds and looks like it would be a fuckin good guitar, plus a good investment if its a discontinued model.
Might be something worth getting if you dont see them around much.
Since your dad has one, at least you know what you're getting.
Have you played a dinky? Maybe if you live near a music shop you should see if you can check one out. Decide what feels better to you, because thats whats important.

ya i played the Dinky, it has AWSOME feel to it, but the PUs arent as good as the Strats (EMG-HZ's vs. Duncans) so if i get the Dinky, i want to change out the PUs at some point (81, 89 set i think) but, the Strat is missing a lock on the nut, plus the shipping to Canada, so im not sure what will cost more in the end...
i think im gonna go with the Dinky, just because it has more functioning parts to it and because i can take as long as i wish to buy it, not like the Strats time limit on bidding (stupid Ebay)...

you said they were both really muddy right? I have an invader, it is pretty muddy, I like it for some styles of music, but I actually put on some of the zakk wylde 60's over an invader and it tightened the sound up quite a bit.
