Marshall JCM2000 or Peavey Triple XXX
I can't decide which one I'm gonna get. I play death metal too so does anyone have opinions on these amps that plays the same style?

theyre both good, We just had major wars over this very topic LOL,
The XXX is a gain monster , But IMHO I prefer THE DSL , thats just my OPINION , I think the DSL is brewtal enuff , you can always do the zakk thing and put an overdrive pedal in front ,
I think the problem with the XXX it can hide alot of shitty playing and IMHO , remember this is only my opinion , A marshall will allow your guitars tonality to come out more. but you have to demo each and decide, the XXX is cheaper , I think the JSX is better than the XXX , I have a XXX and a DSL and have played the JSX

spend the extra money and get a JSX, i say. Similar voicing to the XXX, but much more versatile, and better sounding IMO. Essentially, it IS the XXX, customized by Satch.
Of the 2 you listed, i prefer the XXX.

The XXX can hit DM, this is mine playing some freestyle DM, might sound kinda muddy, cause every knob is on 10 except the mid's, plus it's b tuned.
i personally have stock tubes, and i think they suck, so imma retube soon.
